Instant Buy Bid ("we," "us," "our") operates instantbuybid.com and works with licensed dealers to acquire used-vehicle inventory. This policy explains what personal and business information we collect when you use our website or reach out to us, and how we handle it.

We keep this short on purpose. If anything here isn't clear, email info@instantbuybid.com.

Information We Collect

We only collect information that helps us get you an offer or keep in touch:

• Dealer contact info you submit through our forms: your name, dealership name, email address, phone number, and city/state.
• Vehicle details you submit for an instant offer: VIN, year, make, model, mileage, and any photo of damage you choose to upload.
• Free-form messages you include when contacting us.
• Analytics data, if you accept cookies: pages viewed, approximate location (country/region), device type, and referral source. We use this in aggregate only. IP addresses are anonymized before being sent to Google Analytics.
• Server logs (standard web logs from our host) for security and troubleshooting.

How We Use Your Information

• To prepare and communicate offers on the vehicles you ask us about.
• To schedule visits with your assigned field rep.
• To respond to your general inquiries about our programs (FirstLook, loyalty, rewards, zero-fee sales).
• To keep the site running, secure, and improving over time.

We do not sell your information. We do not share your information with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services We Use

• Google Analytics (GA4): anonymous usage measurement. Only loads if you accept analytics cookies. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• FormSubmit: processes the contact form and forwards your submission (including any attached damage photos) to our inbox. See their Privacy Policy.
• Hostinger: our web hosting provider. See their Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts: loads the display fonts from Google's CDN. Google may log requests per their terms.

Cookies

We use two categories of cookies:

• Necessary — a single first-party preference key (ibb_consent) that remembers your cookie choice so we don't ask again. This is always on.
• Analytics — Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*). These only load if you click Accept on the cookie banner.

You can change your choice anytime by clearing site data in your browser, or by emailing info@instantbuybid.com.

Data Retention

Form submissions sit in our email inbox and internal CRM for as long as we have an active relationship with your dealership, plus a reasonable period for legal and accounting purposes. Anonymous analytics data is retained per Google Analytics default (14 months) and then purged.

Your Rights

You can ask us to:

• Access the information we have about you.
• Correct anything that's wrong.
• Delete your data (subject to any legal-retention requirements).
• Opt out of analytics at any time.

Children

This is a B2B site for licensed dealers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top and, for material changes, post a notice on the site.
